A Call From Kashmir
DAY 1: ARRIVE SRINAGAR
Welcome at Srinagar International Airport & transfer with assistance to Deluxe Houseboat. Relax & enjoy the scenic views of mountain ranges around Dal Lake. Also visit famous Mughal Gardens Cheshma Shahi (Royal Spring), Nishat (Garden of Pleasure) Shalimar (Above of Love). Collectively known as the Mughal Gardens. Shankarachariya Temple located on a hillock, providing panoramic view of entire city with famous Dal Lake and river Jehlum, en route visiting handloom centers, Pashmina shawls, Carpets, dry fruits etc. Evening return back to Houseboat for night stay.
DAY 2: SRINAGAR - GULMARG - SRINAGAR
After breakfast, full day excursion to Gulmarg "Meadow of wild flowers" lies in the west of Srinagar at a distance of 56 kms. On an altitude of 2730 Mts. Above sea level, snow caped mountains are all around one can even have a view of Nanga Parbat on a clear sunny day. It is Premier winter sports Ski resort for skiers with one of the world’s highest 18 hole golf courses. For joy seekers, cable car up to Khilanmarg & Affarwat by Asia’s long run cable car - Gondola rides approx. 5 kms. Evening leisure Shikara tour in Dal Lake through floating vegetable gardens, lotus gardens & backwaters & return to houseboat for night stay.
DAY 3: SRINAGAR - SONAMARG - SRINAGAR
After breakfast, full day excursion to Sonamarg "The Meadow of Gold" , 87kms away from Srinagar in the north-east of Srinagar at an altitude of 3000 Mts above sea level. The place offers incredible scenic beauty (while driving to Sonamarg) dense pine forests, Gigantic mountains. The place itself is a popular resort for mountaineers, rock climbers, besides an important halt on way to Kargil (Ladakh) and provides the ideal base for various trekking routes, high mountain lakes, glaciers and Amarnath Cave. Evening return back to Srinagar for night stay in Hotel.
DAY 4: SRINAGAR - PAHALGAM
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam "the land of Shepherds" 96 kms away from Srinagar situated at an altitude of 2130 Mts. above sea level. On arrival check-in to Hotel. Pahalgam, the most premium resort surrounded by high mountains, dense forests, high mountain altitude lakes. Afternoon, visit Shikargarh temple, Gori Shankar temple, Golf club in Pahalgam. Evening, enjoy on the banks of River Lidder.
DAY 5: DEPARTURE
After breakfast, drive to Srinagar International Airport as per the flight schedule for onward destination.
